Millennials Don’t Polish Silver: Personal Property in the 21st Century
This fall, you can learn how the market for fine art and antiques is changing between Baby Boomers, Gen Xers, and Millennials at Spalding Nix’s lecture titled “Millennials Don’t Polish Silver: Personal Property in the 21st Century” on Saturday, November 20, from 10am to 12pm at Hills & Dales Estate. Spalding Nix is the owner of Spalding Nix Fine Art, one of the Southeast’s finest contemporary galleries. Nix is a member of the American Society of Appraisers and previously worked at the National Gallery of Art and Sotheby’s. As an adviser, Mr. Nix assists clients in navigating the art world by offering advice in the acquisition or sale of fine and decorative works. Nix recently discovered a long-lost John Singer Sargent Painting of Venice and a forgotten Norman Rockwell study of Abraham Lincoln. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
