Hills & Dales Estate offers an enriching, fun-filled educational opportunity for students!

QUEST coordinates with the GA Department of Education curriculum to provide each child with the prospect to experience local history, science and math through “hands-on” garden, herb and composting experiences. Student explorers operate in teams and as individuals as they search for information in a variety of settings. Children receive an “Earle the Squirrel” garden exploration guide, and a clipboard for a historical fact hunt.

QUEST is offered free to all fifth grade students in Troup County, and we ask a fee of $3 per student for all other participants. There is no charge for teachers, chaperones and bus drivers. The curriculum is designed for a fifth grade level and is not recommended for K-2nd grades.

The program begins at 9:00 am and ends at 11:30 am, Tuesday – Friday. Students may bring their lunch and picnic on the estate. In the case of rain, we will work to reschedule.
