No matter what the occasion, Hills & Dales Estate provides a wonderful setting and we are happy to host your photo session with prior booking. Please review our guidelines below and send any questions to info@hillsanddales.org or call 706-882-3242.
Personal Photography
Visitors are encouraged to take photos on the grounds. Personal photography may be captured in the gardens during operating hours with the purchase of a garden ticket. Personal photographs may also be taken on the Visitor Center grounds at no cost during operating hours, however, after-hours use is prohibited. If you post your photos on social media, please tag us (#hillsanddalesestate or @hillsanddales)!
Photography by a professional photographer requires a separate fee and a prearranged appointment.
Please note drones are not allowed on the property! Mood music is also prohibited.
Professional Photography
The historic gardens at the estate provide a beautiful and dynamic backdrop for professional photographers. There is certainly no shortage of lovely photo opportunities!
Professional Garden Photo Session (During Business Hours) $125
Private Professional Garden Photo Session (After Business Hours) $300
Call or submit the session availability form below and we will do our best to accommodate you. Professional session fees provide 2 hours and include up to 6 guests. Additional guests are $10 each and each extra hour is $100. All professional shoots require an appointment and must be pre-paid. Multi-client photo shoots are not allowed. If the photo session involves more than one client group, a separate rental fee is required for each group.
Please note images of the estate may not be used for commercial purposes without the expressed written consent of Fuller E. Callaway Foundation. Photography is not permitted inside the Callaway home. Professional photography may be done on the Visitor Center grounds at no cost during operating hours, however, after-hours use is prohibited.

Professional Photography Procedures
- Complete the Session Availability Request Form below.
- If your photography request is approved sign and return your photography agreement form along with full payment in advance.
- In the event of inclement weather, the photography session can be re-scheduled or a refund will be issued.

Fuller E. Callaway Foundation reserves the right, acting in its sole discretion, to deny or limit the use of the facilities and to determine whether any proposed event or activity is in keeping with the policies then in effect. Similarly, Fuller E. Callaway Foundation reserves the right at any time to amend its policies and guidelines with respect to the rental or usage of Hills & Dales Estate.
