How to Transform a Space (Fundamentals of Landscape Design)

Do you have a planting bed in your garden that needs a makeover? Join Hills & Dales Estate Director and trained landscape designer Carleton Wood for a design workshop where you will create a planting plan with seasonal color and pizazz. Whether you are looking to create a shrub, perennial, or mixed border, you will leave with a better understanding of garden design concepts and a scaled planting drawing with a list of plants to help you create a layout that is aesthetically pleasing and functional. Each participant will receive a design kit that contains sketch paper, circle template, French curve ruler, and a scale. A boxed lunch and all supplies is included. $75 per person.

Workshop fees include supplies and refreshments. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Annual member registration is now open. Nonmember registration begins January 25.
