Memories from Alice’s Kitchen

Take a peek into Alice Callaway’s own recipe box with Ann and Ed Yeargan of Crème Fraiche Catering. Ann will give her take on some of the Callaway family’s favorite memories of dishes like Herb Bread, Jelly Roll Cake, and Devil’s Food Cake, and discuss how Alice used herbs from her own garden in her recipes. Participants will be able to sample the dishes, take home Ann’s version of the Callaway family’s famous muscadine sauce, and get actual copies of Alice’s recipes taken from her recipe box still located in the family’s kitchen at Hill & Dales. $60 per person.
