When are you open?
The estate is currently open Tuesday – Saturday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Is Callaway home open for guided tours?
The Callaway home is not open for tours at this time because of the recent spike in Covid-19 cases. We had hoped to open the home on July 7 but in the interest of safety have postponed the reopening.
What safety precautions have you implemented?
We are requiring social distancing of guests and employees interacting with guests must wear face masks or are separated by a Plexiglas barrier. One way traffic will be encouraged throughout the gift shop and theater. We are also following all CDC guidelines including signage, enhanced cleaning and procedures to minimize contact between people and surfaces.
What can I see at the estate?
Explore the exhibits and gift shop in the Visitor Center and view the orientation film. Afterward, take the walking path or tram to the historic garden for a self-guided tour using our garden map.
How are guests transported to the house and garden?
The garden is a 10 minute walk from the visitor center. We have a golf cart that we can use to transport guests to the garden if necessary. Seat capacity has been reduced to provide social distancing and surfaces are cleaned between each use.
We encourage all individuals from at risk populations or who have underlying conditions to exercise caution.
