Hills & Dales Estate offers a unique, fun-filled educational opportunity for children. The experience, Quest, relates specifically to the fifth grade curriculum as defined by the Georgia Department of Education. We seek to provide each student with the opportunity to experience the history of the Callaway family and their impact on our community and region. Also, we provide “hands on” learning during our “Tree Walk.” In addition, students will grow in their knowledge of herbs as they touch, smell, and taste these amazing plants.
Quest is offered free to all fifth grade students in Troup County. Other grades or any students outside of Troup County may book a group student garden tour for $3 per student. There is no charge for teachers, bus drivers, and chaperons. We require one chaperon for every 15 students. Quest begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 11:30 a.m. If students bring their lunches, we will provide a pleasant location to picnic.
